  OCVA Lions at the Thomas House Walk-A-Thon Event

Thomas House, which provides temporary housing for homeless families, has staged its nineth annual Walk-A-Thon Sunday at Mile Square Park  The non-competitive, 3K walk is for families and individuals of all ages.  The event will feature entertainment, clowns and food.



Thomas House is a non-profit, temporary shelter available to homeless families of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. Located in an apartment complex in Garden Grove, the Thomas House Program assists families to become self-sufficient.

OCVA Lions Club, together with over 70 members, families and friends, came to support and participate in the Walk-A-Thon event. OCVA Lions Club donate $2,000.00 to Thomas House Shelter. Dr. Quan Tran and Dr. Dao Tran, from the Fountain Valley Pain Center, offered their service to give a free massage treatment to exhausted Walk-a-thon participants.
